Voucher Requests
Vouchers are available for on campus departments and groups. Vouchers are an easy way for departments to purchase meal tickets and distribute them to employees or guest for use in the dining locations. Vouchers are prepaid by the purchasing department. In special circumstances, vouchers can be bill upon redemption. This option must be approved in advance of purchase by Tech Dining.
Vouchers can be purchased increments and do not have to be purchased for the full meal amount. For example, departments can purchase $5 vouchers and the customer would pay the difference of their purchase.
Additional Voucher Guidelines
To ensure that all vouchers are correctly accounted for during the fiscal year, vouchers will expire on May 15th of every year. If a group wants a set of vouchers to be valid in a period that spans before and after the expiration date, they will have to do two transactions. One, for the vouchers to be redeemed before May 15th and the other for vouchers redeemed after (next fiscal year vouchers). Custom expiration dates can be set for the vouchers.
Tech Dining will charge all groups an administrative fee to cover the cost of printing and administering the vouchers. The fee is 15% of the total transaction cost with a $50 minimum requirement. If a customer does two different voucher transactions, they will be assigned two separate fees. For customers that are approved to pay upon redemption, the fee will be based on the total vouchers requested and not redeemed. This payment is due before delivery of vouchers.
